When I got this pistol I noticed it seemed pretty loose. After only 2 magazines it was this loose so I stopped shooting...

Yes your lack of hot linking is completely unacceptable.

However, that rattle is normal. Without the mag in and sometimes even with it in my guns will rattle if you shake them like that. Combat pistols are built with looser tolerances. It is what allows them to shoot when they are wet, muddy, covered in blood. If it were a match grade 1911 I would be concerned, an M&P? Not so much.

Also please be careful when handling a gun like that. That video made me all

Can't see your video, but as CF said, if you want something to run when it's dirty, it needs clearance.  If you have clearance, you will probably get a little rattle.

The video got pulled off YouTube for some reason. I will repost later.

My biggest concern is that the sights actually move as the trigger is pulled and after the trigger breaks. That cannot be normal or acceptable.

I know it isn't a custom fit gun but this seems excessive.

I had a Glock 17 that did that. The slide would actually move to the right when you pulled the trigger. I don't mind a little play, but shaking like a baby rattle is unnecessary to me.

My HiPower has got quite a bit of movement and it's still pretty darned accurate.  Not sure how, but it is.  Since I can't see the video I can't compare it though.

Ok I can't seem to hot link the video from my phone but it's back up.

I know I'm not handling it in a "safe" manner but trust me it was safety checked.

Nothing very surprising there, how does it shoot?

WAY left which isn't typical for me with an m&p.

I checked out two different 5" m2.0s today and both had play but not like mine. The slide did not shift during the trigger pull like mine.
