Has anyone heard when the .45 Caliber version of the new M&P 2.0 will be available?

Seriously considering one to make a suppressor host and Apex it out.

Well, I got a response from S&W today in reference to the 45 ACP version of the 2.0-

They have no set ship date for them, which leads me to believe they haven't been put into production yet.

A coworker of mine brought his 2.0 45 to the range Tuesday. I was busy and didn't get a chance to shoot it. It was black with a 5 inch barrel with no safety. David

Came from the factory with the TS, but it's been removed and the insert installed.

I put 60 rounds through it this morning (WWB and one magazine of Hornady Critical Defense for function check). All I had time for, but I'm pretty pleased with it. Bounced target ball all over the place with no issues at all.

ETA with ambi safety?
Bud's has the 2.0 in 45 without the safety.

Sportsman guide had them as of yesterday. I got a 9mm and a .45 both with the safetys

They make a 14rd extended factory mag.
The M&P45 might be a little less capacity than the Glock, but it sure fits my hand a lot better than a G21 brick...
