Hey guys, I just bought a no-safety Shield in 9mm a couple weeks ago after wanting one for several years. Took it to the range yesterday and was impressed with the accuracy and overall performance. The trigger pull is fine although I'm considering an Apex kit at some point down the line. I am not impressed, however, with the lack of a tactile reset. Don't get me wrong, it's there, just not as pronounced as I would like it to be. Is there a way to make the reset more crisp and firm so that you can feel it in the trigger more? Would an Apex kit help this? A stronger spring under the sear?

Any experience you can give me would be great.

I went ahead and ordered the Apex kit and the trigger for the Shield. The sear geometry is different with the Apex sear, and the trigger spring and sear spring are different. The AEK trigger I used to have in my regular M&P was phenomenal so I believe the Shield trigger design will deliver the same kind of performance.

Trust in Apex. I just ordered the polymer FFS trigger kit for my M&Pc and the full AEK kit for my Shield from ineedmoregear.com. They have great pricing right now. They are a site vendor, if I'm not mistaken.
