I lost my take down spring for my M&P 45 . I went to order another at Brownells and it said they were only for 9 & 40 & not for 45 . Will this wire work with the 45

I would ask in the S&W industry forum to be sure, but I've used them interchangeably in the past and they fit just fine.
FWIW I'd buy a few, they seem to be air-soluble when you're stripping the gun.
