i searched for this answer, but my search-fu is weak sauce, so i'll ask it here.

i have an standard M&P40 and bought a Storm Lake M&P9 Pro threaded barrel from my dealer.  is this going to be an issue?  the stock M&P slide and frame with the M&P Pro drop in barrel?  i have not shot it yet, but i have installed it and it looks ok.  i just want to make sure i bought the right barrel and it functions ok.

Should be GTG.

Don't forget to use 9mm mags.

An extended and threaded barrel for the 5" Pro is going to stick out 1.25" from a standard size slide. Unless you meant the barrel is for a 4.25" Pro then it would fit like normal.

doh!  silly me.  just a simple M&P40 with Storm Lake 9mm threaded barrel, Apex sear and Octane 9.  i might have to invest in some higher sights.  i can't wait to try to Octane on my M10 and 9mm AR.
