Is the trigger really better on the Pro models, over the standard M&P full-size? The pull is supposed to be 4.5lbs on Pro models compared to 6.5 for the standard ones. Anyone compare them?

Its an improved trigger. BUT it can be better with Apex kits.

My Pro and compact had exactly the same trigger. Very disappointing.
I put the Apex parts into the Pro and likely will do the same for the compact.

My Pro almost seemed to have a worse trigger...
But then I remembered I had broken in my M&P9. Either way, I feel theyre the exact same trigger. Apex would be what you need.

From what I can tell from my Pro, it's simply a polished sear from the same material as the regular trigger. No change in geometry. I put an FSS in mine.

Thanks for the reply's guys. I will get the standard full size and add the DCAEK with RAM.
