I have been looking for a 92fs and have not been able to find one locally. I did find a 92fs INOX what is the difference other than costing a 100.00 more?

Inox is Stainless. Thats all I know other than you can find a good deal on a Beretta on one of the gun auction web site's if you are not in a hurry.

Inox is stainless, the only difference between an Inox and a regular 92 other then color is that the black 92's have a chrome lined barrel where the stainless ones do not.

I broke down and ordered one from the local fun shop it should be here in about a week is 599.00 all fees included a fair price.

Not quite.
The Inox version has a stainless steel slide, regular is carbon steel with Bruniton finish.
Frame and slide parts can also very in material and finish.
