Ok this iis a new one for me, I was at the NRA  online store today and they have a sale on the BlackHawk Serpa lock holster, but for type it lists Beretta 92/96 but then says not for Elite/Brig I assuming this means the Elite and Brigadier versions, is there a dimensional difference? Any help would be appreciated since I own a 92FS Brigadier and am thinking of getting some other holsters, I currently have a DeSantis holster for a 92 and have had no issues with fit.  So what gives?

The Brigadier has a thicker/heavier slide in the middle.

Brigadier slides are slightly thicker (I think this is why they may require different holsters?) and heavier. They are easily identified with the recontoured shape (a slight hump) and removable front and rear sights (depends on which model the slide is on). It is an option that often comes with higher end Berettas models, such as all the Elites to date, but an Elite's Brigadier slide should not be dimensionally different than the slide on your 92FS Brigadier.

The top one is a 92FS Inox Brig, and the bottom is a 92FS Inox. You can see the difference about half way down the slide on the Brigadier and like others have said it is a little wider across.

Thanks guys I see the difference for sure, darn so the deal isnt one since the holster wont fit the pistol correctly, now this is going to make getting a kydex style holster all the more interesting and most likely expensive, Again thanks for the education
