After being in Iraq and Afghanistan this year, I have developed a liking for Beretta...I hope the 92FS is pretty much like the M-9.  Think I found a very good deal on GUNSAMERICA and jumped on it....so, I hope none of my Glock freinds see this confession!  Can't wait to get this one to the range! v/r W

I've had my Beretta 92FS for years and shot many rounds through it from many different manufacturers.  This also includes reloads and I've never had a problem.

Its a helluva lot of fun to shoot alongside my Glock 21 and Sig p226.

I only thing I changed was to swap out the plastic grips for Hogue Finger groove grips.

Congratulations on your 92FS! It is technically the civilian version of the M9, but the 92FS still has many differences, some of which depends on how old the 92FS is. At one point in time the 92FS and M9 were nearly identical, but over many years, as the 92FS incorporated "improvements" and changes in design, the M9 did not "benefit" from many of them. I wrote up a guide, just keep in mind that I documented only the most recent production 92FS, which may or may not be what you purchased. Don't worry about the Glock guys, they are too busy duking it out with Sig and HK fans!
