Yesterday I made an impulse buy. Saw a PX4 9mm with manual safety while shopping. I had always been intrigued by rotating barrel pistols and had heard good things about the PX4. I paid ~$600 after taxes and background check fees. Not the best price, but handguns have always been overpriced in my area and I didn't want to mess with a transfer. Range report to follow because WI has a stupid 2 day waiting period on handguns.

You'll like it.  The PX4 9mm was my first handgun, and I've loved it from the first shot.  So far I've put somewhere around 800rnds down the tube and not a single malfunction yet, and that's with SEVERAL different types (and ages) of ammo.

I think the DA trigger pull is pretty stout, but the SA is pretty sweet.  Plus this thing is ridiculous accurate.  I'm still working on my form a bit, but I can get within a softball sized circle at 25yds.  My buddies dad (who is a die hard Glocker BTW) was so impressed with it, he's on his way out to buy one...blasted the top off a 20oz bottle at 50yds.  Couldn't say enough good things about it.  Good enough for me!

Post up your thoughts after you break it in, and some pictures too!

I bought one about a month ago used with about 200 rounds down the tube, for $380.  I have put about 300 rounds through it since I bought it and it has functioned flawlessly, and is accurate as all hell.  Still trying to get the feel of it, you will not be disappointed.

One of the most accurate pistols I have ever shot.
So good in fact I gave away my Ruger after putting 2k through the storm.

I got a PX4 9mm when they first came out. After reading about them I went to the next gun show in town and picked one up. They were a bit less money then, but then everything was.

I like the gun. It fits me and shoots well. I just did my CC class with it. It got a lot of attention from the other students. Several wanted to hold it and see how it felt. They all liked it. They also like the way it shot. I put all 20 rounds in a nice little spot on the target. Boy that paper guy must have had one hell of a tummy ache when I got done with him.  Also, I did all 20 shots on one magazine. The instructor kept wondering if I was going to switch mags, I never had to! That really impressed them.

Great little gun. Replaced my Sig P228 which was a good gun. I just shoot better with the Storm. I wish it was decock only, but its not a deal breaker. I think it can be converted.

IMHO: One nice pistol

You'll like it.  1000 rounds + with mine and not a single problem with new and old ammo and all types of bullets, brass, steel and aluminum cases (can't do that with some other brands).  Strong action, fits me well, no complaints.
