I am looking at a 92FS Police special that is supposedly NIB. The guy says it comes with 3 clips (does not designate what capacity the clips are btw) and the pics are be-utiful. Can this be true? New in the box????
Thoughts on this gun pro and con? |

It could be true.
I have purchased a couple guns in my time off friends who knew I was a gun owner. They had purchased it, then for whatever reason, wanted to get rid of it. One guy married, and his wife "did not want guns in the home." Another friend was paying off debt. Both times I got a brand new gun for pennies on the dollar. But on the other hand I have seen some "NIB" that really meant "Used" But you have got to look at price. And extra magazines. I got a gun once when the gun was way way over priced, but I got 10 magazines, and a ton of ammunition. If the price is close to what you would pay in the store...I would question that. But if the price is good. Go for it. |

So it IS possible to be NIB... cool, thanks. RE: clip vs magazine... well, you know, i'm not that tightly wound <grin>. Thanks for the quick response, I think I'm going to get this gun. Tight wound or not its not the correct term.
Usually a Police Special will have three mags, and night sights. |

NIB Police Special is quite common. They're just extras left over from contracts that never got delivered, made a couple too many, contract changes, cheaper to run X number of guns, etc. They just sell what's left over for a great price with extra mags. Really, the Police Special is the best deal out there for a B92 IMO. They're NIB guns with three hi-caps, often with night sights. Sometimes they won't have NS's, it just depends on the run they were making. Either way, they're great deals. You did well.
