If Beretta USA does not have them in stock, you could order it from Wolff Spring. Just order a 16 lb hammer spring and you should be set.

This guy is one of the best to deal with and is well known to Beretta fans.

D Olhasso Beretta parts, etc.

It's the real, genuine part.  He keeps the website up to date as well, so at least you'll know if he has them.

It's your ass and money on the 16's, but I've tryed 17's in two different pistols my 92FS and M9 and the 17lb springs where too light. They light striked not igniting the primer on the WWB 9mm FMJ I use for practice atleast 2 to 3 rounds per mag.

I was using D hammer springs I bought directly from Beretta USA for a long time and went through looking for more and better options and found ISMI's 19lb SS 1911 mainsprings to be the best alternative so far.
The 1911 mainsprings are the same size as the 92 hammer springs and a direct drop in fit. I didn't try a 18lb Wolff out yet, but the 19lb stainless steel ISMI 1911 mainsprings are a lighter and smoother pull with flawless function than the Beretta D springs and Nowlin chrome silicon 19.5 1911 mainsprings which are all better than the stock 92FS/M9 hammer springs though.

The only way to go safely to a lighter hammer spring I feel from there is to change out your standard hammer to a skeletal hammer so the 17 lb and maybe below hammer springs don't have as much hammer to push and slow there strike on the firing pin.

I see on my previous thread a member is using Wolff's 18's sucessfully. I may try some myself.
