Does the compact 92FS use the same magazines as the standard Beretta 92FS ?

Thanks.

There were "compact" models with a shorter grips (and, accordingly, shorter magazines) and also the "Centurian" models with shorter slides/barrels but standard grips/magazines.

I assume standard 92-series mags work with the compact models and just protrude below the mag-well when seated, but I don't know that (I've never owned/shot a "compact" model).

The 92SF mags and 92FS Cenurian mags are the same.  The 92FS compacts use a shortened 92FS mag and regular mags will work, they just stick out 1/2".  There is also a  92FS-C Type M or Type L that used single stack mags and uses its own unique mags.
