Mine has been 100% reliable over about 1,000 rds. It shoots minute-of-soda-can at 10 yards no problem. Handles everything from stingers to blazer, but won't cycle CBs (didn't expect it to.) $125 at a flea market and one of the best buys I think I've made. It's a keeper, and 'd buy another in a heartbeat. |

Sorry to hi-jack your post, but I had some issues with my 21a in 22lr so far..... It had a lot of fail to feeds and fail to ejects. So much so that i was about to toss the gun down range! I tried out a few different types of ammo: first off, some Federal 36grain, it FTF about once every 2-5 rounds, and FTE or stove-pipes every 10-20 rounds! second, I tried some Winchester superx 40grain, its a little better then the Federal 36grain, It ejects better (still a few rounds that refuse to) but still way too many FTF's. I got this pistol new from the factory...I clean it, and lubed it. I am not sure why I would have so many problems with this pistol....maybe one of you guys can give me a hint. I came up with a few things that might cause my problems: 1)It might be the ammo I was using....I went out and got a box of CCI stingers, CCI velocitors, and some of more of the federal/winchester (i am going to use them as the control of my experiment). Maybe hotter loads will solve my problem. 2)Maybe this little pistol just required a little breaking into? 3)Mag problem, but i really don't think so. Its a factory mag, and most single stack mags I have seen in the past rarely have any feeding problems... Let me know what you guys think, i am going to the range soon to test out the new ammo, if i am still having problems with hotter ammo, i am just going to trade it in for something else. thanks in advance. |
