| Does any one have a beretta in .380 or have you shot one? Are they reliable and what is the recoil like? I am thinking about getting one for my wife since I can not find a compact single stack 9mm. |

I have a Beretta M1934 that was a WWII bring back. It shoots GREAT. Recoil wasn't bad, and accuracy was excellent. I've never used a model 84, but they seem to be well built and I've known a couple women who liked them qutie a bit. They're double stack, but due to the shorter .380 round the grip is smaller than a 9mm. Ross |
| I had one and really liked it. Recoil was very mild. I figured it would be a good gun for my girlfriend. She liked to shoot it, but had some difficulty with the slide. There is not a lot to hold on to, and it was hard for her to pull it back. Ended up trading it and have regretted it ever since. I should have kept it for me and got her something else instead. |
