What exactly is it? A 92 franken-gun? Please explain I am intrigued at it's apparent coolness.

yeah that was a wicked gun i wish i wouldnt have sold it, the way the gun was in the case it had a compensator attached to a special recoil guide rod it worked very well, then the other barrel in the picture was a factory beretta target barrel with a weight on it i think it was a 7" barrel, both ways it was increadibly accurate it came as a competition conversion kit from beretta wood grain grips, target sights. i dont think you can still get it in that length anymore, and the compensator the only other one ive seen exactly like it was in the movie LEON no one seems to know where it came from. ive seen other compensators similiar but still different.

How do you guys like the whole slide mounted saftey?  I have heard that alot of people don't like 'em.  Are there any "performance/saftey" downsides of having it mounted on the slide?

You'll find all of the 1911 guys bashing the slide mounted saftey, but I can disengage it as fast as I can my standard 1911 saftey. As far as perforance goes I have yet to have a problem.

I really don't understand why people get their panties in a wad over slide mounted safeties....I too can engage/disengage then as fast as a frame one..

BTW AdamTheFarmer-Did you get the Super Sniper O rings I sent you?

MormonComputerZ, why the fraq would you actually put that silly laser sticker on your weapon? Do you look down the barrel so often you're afraid you'll forget it's there and blind yourself?

Anywho, my 3 amigos, w/ an EII coming this summer....

L: 92G Elite 1A.   bone stock, only 50 rnds fired.
M: 92G Elite. overtravel stop, trigger work, EII hammer, burner grips, trijicons (novak rear), approx 5k rounds
R: 92FS, modest trigger work, grid tape. It's my beater. Guessing 60k+ fired.

It's so sexy. I have about 600 rounds of 9mm so I can go shooting tomrrow, don't worry I won't be shooting them all tomorrow, probably just 100 or so. It came with (1) stainless steel hi-cap 15 round and (2) black hi-cap 15 rounders. All made in italy.

I bought it used, for $475, i'd call it a 99% gun. There's no marks or anything. barely even a mark from the magazine being put in, no marks at the ejection port.

I was suprised I talked him into the price (guy was a complete asshole to EVERYONE.. but he had all the guns for the right price :(, heh). This version has the non-plastic trigger + saftey, so I am really happy :)

I just cleaned it all up and it looks 5x better, and then I whiped it down with a silicone rag.

I emailed Beretta about getting one in the states and they said it was "unavailable"...  Color me very jealous.

The gun or the magazines? Because it looks like your slide is marked "BERETTA U.S.A. CORP. ACKK., MD.--MADE IN USA"
