First off, I want to say how badass you guys are!  What a great place to hang out.  There isn't a question that goes unanswered, or anybody not just overly helpful.

That said, I bought a 92A1 two weeks ago.  I have come to understand Some of the differences in the models, with the A1 having both sights dovetailed.

I am working a trade deal, for a plain old 92FS right now.  I realize that the front sight is integral (which isn't the end of the world), but isn't the rear dovetailed?  That said, asuming it is, can you get a little better rear sight for it?  Maybe something a bit more precision?  I am not wanting an adjustable, but I think "better" would be a bit nicer.

Throw me a bone guys!   LOL.   Thanks again.

The 92A1 is a great pistol, I love mine.

To answer your question, yes the 92A1 has dovetail front and rear sights, the 92FS has dovetail rear only and fixed front sight.

If you wanted a tritium front sight it is possible to drill the front sight and insert a tube of tritium, obviously this is a job for a gunsmith. Beretta had adjustable target rear site on their website but I recommend fixed sights unless this is a dedicated range gun.

Your sight choices for a 92FS are currently these:

Rear:
-Wilson Combat fixed
-Novak fixed
-Aristocrat fixed
-Trijicon fixed
-LPA (Beretta) low pro adjustable (works with standard front blade)
-LPA (Beretta) tall adjustable (requires pin-on front)
-Kensight adjustable (requires custom made front)

Front:
-Trijicon tritium insert
-AGW Fiber optic insert
-LPA tall adjustable blade (used with adjustable rear)
-Custom made weld-on balde
