My gut says preban, but I'd wait until you got a second opinion.
It's an older Beretta mag going by the aluminum floor plate. The presence of Beretta's CAGE code suggests it was made when Beretta supplied magazines for the military, and there are no LE markings on it. |

the Beretta factory mag, yes. It has the sharp valley indent, no date codes, no restriction markings, and aluminum baseplate and follower. I believe Beretta switched to polymer baseplates and followers in the early 90s. The ASSY number indicates that it was an M9 contract mag. Not familiar enough with Mec-Gar mags to say if they are preban. |
