Hey guys,

Second thread on this site. Got a Stoeger Cougar 8000 FT a couple months back and realized it was the predecessor to the Px4 Storm.

I was curious if the barrel from a Px4 would work in my Cougar as they both use the same rotating barrel design.

Any help is much appreciated.

If you're planning on putting a can on it don't bother, they don't work unless you don't mind retightening your can every other round.

The Beretta cougar was the predecessor to the PX4 not the Stoeger version. To be correct.

No the barrels are not interchangeable, and I agree a suppressor is not going to work.
