So why are these so much cheaper than a 92FS?

New to the Beretta world, thought I'd ask here first.

It's more of a function of them likely being PD trade-ins than anything else.  FS trade-ins in similar condition fetch similar prices.

The "G" wasn't offered for general sales, so the only easy way to get them is as a trade-in.  "FS"s were of course offered, so the price tends to skew towards the higher side on individually owned guns that someone bought new in a shop.

They're nice guns that get rid of any possibility of accidentally engaging the safety while manipulating the slide, which numerous people bitch about.

G models are decock only. The DA/SA trigger is the same. Just no manual safety. The decocker is spring loaded so it will return to the fire position afterr it has been decocked. Personally, I prefer this method of action over the manual safety. All thee Elite series are G models.

Thanks guys.  Think I'll pick one up, they're only $345 so all in would be around $360 for me.  I bought a 92 compact in August and love it.  This Beretta itch isn't going away as easily as I thought it would.
