Hey, if you have some experience with the pistol and you'd like to shed some light my questions below, that'd be greatly appreciated: Is the frame full-size like a 92F? Mid-size maybe? So long as it's not teeny like my Walther P22. Would you say the accuracy is up to par with the Smith & Wes Model 41? Stock from the factory, how do you feel about the trigger? The manual online says single action (I think). Can it do double action on the first shot? Is that groove on the front weight for looks or accessories? Got some pictures online? |

Its based on the model 8X series of 380`s. Its not as big as a model 92, I`d call it a mid sized. The 8X series have a fair trigger on them but its not target grade. I`ve shot the standard model 87, it was a good shooter but nowhere close to a Smith 41. The extended barrel & weight on the target model should give some improvement over the standard model but I cant say how much. I`m not sure if the groove is cosmetic or functional. I liked the one I shot but it wasnt a target pistol, just a very good plinker or fun gun. |
| Pretty much an exact echo of what P35Fan said. It is not a serious target pistol, and can not hold the jock strap of a nice S&W 41...one of the very few S&W autos they really, really did well. I love the standard 87 for plinking and such, but no way it compares to either a serious Target model Hi Standard or the 41. |
