I bought the latest locking block kit to replace my aged one.

Problem is this I don't have the correct size punch.  Smallest I have 1/16in.  Anybody know the correct size and a good site to order such small punches.

Thanks

Do you normally need tools to remove them?

I only ask because mine comes out and goes back in after a bit of wiggling.

The newest version locking block uses a new plunger. The old plunger needs to go as it will no longer fit.

Some barrel lugs seem to allow wiggle room to allow the block to slide out and in. Some lugs are tighter and do not allow the block out- these need the pin driven out to get at the block.

The loose barrel lug fit may be due to wear or just how it was made when new...doesnt really effect the pistol's function.

Thank you for the link.  I'm going to look for a cheaper metric punch set.  A 1.5mm punch would have been better as the 1/16in punch was slightly to big.

This is why I needed to push out the pin.  I updated to the latests locking block and plunger.  The plunger is held in by a pin.

The new locking block was very hard to get it to position.  The only locking block was easy to remove/install.

I was able to get it out using a 1/16 punch and really small precision screwdriver.  It almost looked like the original roll pin was staked to avoid removal.
