I have been looking for the factory Beretta 20 round mags originally for the 93R (God, I would love one of those!).  I would have thought Beretta and others would have been importing them by now, but I have not found a source yet.  Any thoughts?

I have heard that Beretta does not plan on importing anymore, but cannot confirm that. They were never all that common and many LE agencies have now switched from the 92 to the 96 or another .40 caliber. MegGar, on the other hand, might be persuaded to bring some in.

I have heard Mec-Gar Magazines are good, but I personally have never used them but over at the berettaforum.net, I have read from other people that the are good magazines, and really not that expnesive.

Hope this helps.

The Beretta web site has a 20-rnd mag for the 92FS and Cx4 Storm carbine that looks a lot like the 93R.  They show it as "Projected Availibilty Date" of 5 Nov. 2004.  URL is http://www.berettausa.com/  Look in either Pistol Pro Shop or Cx4 Accessories links.  -TB

Beretta has the factory Storm magazines there in stock now for the bargain price of $60.  That's still pretty steep for a 20 round mag.  They have the non-sleaved pseudo-aftermarket one for $35.  I would assume they would get cheaper as they sell them to civilians now and the Storm is gaining in popularity.

They also have the sleeves for $5 on the Storm accessories page.  -TB

FWIW- I just received some of the more expensive ones direct from Beretta.  They are made in Italy.  Probably a bit steep, but I was thinking of jumping on some way back for double that.  I even got one for a Christmas present.  Hopefully they will go lower, but certainly nice mags.  I can't wait to get into the range!

I got an e-mail from Beretta today for free shipping for online orders >$30 for the next few days (I've ordered a few things from them in the past) and went there to search for something I might need - that's when I stumbled across the new 20-rounders in their "CX4/Storm Shop."  I found this thread when I searched to see if anything had been posted about these yet - if not, I was going to start a new thread.

FACTORY 20-rounders!
