My 92FS slide won't fit back on the frame. I've measured the inside diameter of the slide and it's .709at the back of the slide where it's causing a lot of friction with the frame.

The locking block also just broke and it's been replaced and the trigger spring is now broken as well. I did have to use some light pounding and a little work with a dental pick to get the slide off after the locking block broke, but nothing major that it would of damaged the slide. I have also cross checked the slide and frame with two other 92FSs and it's definitely the slide. I will probably just buy a new slide to replace the old one, but my only question is how a slide can be wear down to were it will no longer fit on the frame?

By the way this 92FS is used by contractors to train Navy sailors on M9 familiarization and qualification, so it has a high round count.

Pictures?

I just measured two slides at the rear most point, right at the lower edges of the rail cut-out,,,, .7075 & .7080..........

I am guessing something else is slightly out of place and hitting the slide as you try and place it back onto the frame.

You guys are right. It turned out there was a near unnoticeable bur on the back of the slide.

Thanks for your helps guys.
