I'll do my best to describe it.
Older M9, 200 rounds fired. Functions properly, but with a hiccup. When manually cocked, or SA, the trigger bar fails to go up all the way and won't return to proper position until I touch the trigger. The trigger goes back a little bit and the trigger bar clicks up to its correct position. It does this with and without the grips on. Everything is installed properly. Before I go throwing cash at this. Is it just the trigger bar spring being out of spec, or is the trigger bar itself out of spec, or possibly something else. Before somebody says it, yes the gun works fine and I am going out and shooting it, but this is bugging me to the point were I want it fixed.

I have exactly same problem with '85 production 92F.
I replaced the trigger bar spring, it did not help whatsoever. Something else is binding the trigger bar in lower position and to this day I cannot figure out what. It appears that there is too much friction between the frame and trigger bar. |
| My M9 does this. My Centurion doesn't and neither does my Elite 1A. I've seen other Berettas do this. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's normal, but I think it's common, and for me it has never effected the way the firearm performs. Don't worry too much about it. If it starts to effect the function of the firearm, or if you can tell it's doing some type of damage to your firearm, then get it looked at. |
