[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 92fs / Elite II

This is my first post so forgive me if I screw something up...

About a year and a half ago I purchased a brand new Beretta that had a 92fs upper (slide and barrel) which was matched with an Elite II lower (checkered front and back of grip, skeletonized hammer, ext. mag release, etc.). The dealer said it was 1 of 30. Beretta subsequently confirmed this with an email to me stating it was a 'special project'. I'm guessing that's code for 'we had a few of these laying around and a few of those and they just happened to fit together, so...'

It's nice.. What I wonder though is what is the value of something like this? FWIW I have put about 50 rds. through it. I held out about a year before giving in.
