For me its the best 500.00 pistol I ever bought. Its very Accurate has never had a malfunction.It has a great trigger in DA. The Night sights are a big plus.
The only negative is at 1st its a bit diffucult to break down for cleaning but after a few times it loosens up and is easy enough.. I HIGHLY recomend buying one! Just a note they now have a version out WITHOUT Night Sights and 1 Magazine for a lesser price, so make sure you are getting the version you want! |

I've only got a couple hundred rounds through mine so far, but I really like it. The trigger is very nice and the gun points well for me. The grip felt odd at first, but it's not a problem while shooting.
If I had any complaints it would be that the finish on top of the barrel block wears off extremely quickly compared to my M&P and my HK. The gun itself is nice though. I think you'll be happy with it.

| To me the weak point is the take down lever and its retain wire/spring. If you bend that spring the take down lever will work out somewhat on recoil and jam the pistol. It cannot come all the way out as the slide retains it . Just remember never to force the lever back in. I would imagine this would be more of a problem with a 40 recoil. They also feel too slide light or out of balance to aim . Probably a good value for most, but watch bumping the takedown from the push out side . As someone pointed out the take down can loosen up or the retainer get easier. Its something that would not bother most people or even be a problem, but I dont like the design at any price. |
| I just picked up an all German, Eckenforde black box model for $459. It is the most current version with the new small grip that says "Sig Sauer" instead of SIG PRO. This one also has the new external extractor instead of the internal extractor of the previous models. Gun came with 2 mags, and has Ilaflon finish. IMHO, it is the BEST gun buy I have made this year. |

Found my 2009 manufactured DAO used for $330 with three mags. It's the perfect HD weapon since all you do is pick it up, aim and pull the trigger. you can buy a new DA/SA or DAO Fire control unit to have it both ways. Has been a very reliable weapon. |
