My 239 9mm is the most intuitively shooting handgun I own. Typical Sig, expensive mags, built like a tank, heavy for its size, classy looking, and absolutely reliable. I carry mine every day in a Mika body armor holster and usually forget its there.

I can agree with this.. I owned a 239 in .40/357 and it was ok, sold it.. Got a 239 in 9mm and it's been amazing

I am now on the search for a P239 SAS Gen 1

If anyone sees one please let me know!  I want the DAK trigger from the Gen 1

My only complaint about the 239 is that the stumpy grip makes it feel kind of top heavy. Shoots great, though.

At JYogi,,  I have the SAS Gen1 Two-tone and the trigger is good, but I think it is a little on the long side..    very consistent though..

I just bought another P239 but this is in the threaded barrel config.    I'll let everyone know how well it does when I get it..

Please let me know
If I recall that version is the DA/SA trigger?

Most I have spoken said range DA/SA without a doubt
Carry they will never considering anything other than the DAK again (these are LE and Govt employees)

I had the HK P2000 V2 LEM and liked the trigger quite a bit for a carry piece!  Safe and SIMPLE!  Just too long of a finger
reach for me to fully cover the trigger to the point I am comfortable with.

I MAY have to grab a V1 220 also just gotta see if the grip size could really work for me (read other thread in the Sig forum here.)

Thanks again everyone!

The Sig crew here seems quite humble and helpful...  Only other board people are so open and helpful to their brand as other brands/platforms
are the 1911 boards...  Many lesser priced or higher priced brands forums I have entered seem to have serious "our brand is best all else stink" issues haha
