I’ve never seen them. Many years ago I used spacers for S&W semi’s and found them to be a pain. You could pinch the bottom of your hand with the spacer when seating the mag. Plus many were out of spec and wouldn’t let the mag fully seat. Granted a little filing could fix that. As has already been mentioned, a P226 mag works fine in a P228. Note though, that the standard P226 hi-cap has a metal floorplate with some sharp corners, it’s best to replace it with a padded P226 floorplate (such as mentioned by Offshore) or with a P228 floorplate, which is plastic. |
