Picked up a new P220 Equinox at the gun show sunday and have a question. It has the trijicon front site and am wondering how it holds up to carry.Would I be further ahead to just put the night site on the front? Thanks in advance for the replies.

I don't understand your question.

If it has a Trijicon Front on it, why replace it?

Sorry ment to say truglo sites. It extends back from the front dovetail about a half inch and has a small gap between it and the slide. I have looked at 6 of these and all are like it.

Ok..so it has a Truglo on it now? Right?

I think they are pretty rugged, as many use them, but I have no experience with them.

I like having night sights, so if it were me, I would get the Trijicons.

Thanks for the help. I too like the nite sites and discovered last night in a dark room that the trueglow also glows in the dark like the rear site.

I have TFO's on several Sig pistols.  I have never had a problem with the vial coming loose, although some have.

I think I know your concern; the Truglo has a much longer profile and has the ability to snag underneath it.

I have this sight on my SCT, but my Raven is on order.  I think they key is getting a holster that has a wide enough sight channel to keep it from getting held-up in the draw.

I can update once my Raven gets in––but that might not be for awhile...
