What weight of hammer spring does Sig use in the P226 (Blackwater Tactical), and where is a good source for replacements. Wolf?

The Wolff website (www.gunsprings.com) says that P226 pistols come with a 21-lb. mainspring.
Most folks replace the factory spring with an 18- or 19-lb. Wolff spring. Buy the Wolff variety pack and see what works for you. By all means, test your carry ammo with the new spring to make sure that the ammo will fire correctly. |
