A friend wants me to buy a blued Sig P230 from them.   Evidently it is about 15+ years old and has a "jamming" problem.  Not sure what the issue is at this point.   Condition is excellent.   Any idea what a fair price would be ?   Would Sig fix this if I can't or is that asking too much from them ?

I dont know if Sig will fix it or not.  I have a P232 & it has been very reliable.
Jamming could be weak grip, dirt, bad mags, rough surfaces etc.  They ask $400 to $500 for clean used ones at shows in N TX.

I have a Stainless P230 and encountered the same thing.  I tried different ammo (I had some on backorder for six months and it finally came in) and had some success.  I also polished the feedramp.  After the polishing and settling on ammo; it's now completely reliable.   I really like the gun a lot.  It's now my main CCW.
