Now that Sigs are shipping with two mags again, I've noticed there are quite a few around that come with only one mag. Given that a Sig mag (9mm, 45 acp, etc.) goes for around $44 + shipping, this isn't a trivial point.
I'm in the market for a new Sig, but wondering if I should hold off until the one-mag inventory has largely been sold-off. Anyone have opinions about this? Is the two-mag inventory available yet or are dealers mostly trying to unload the one-mag inventory? Jimmy |

i just got an x5 but didn't find out that they never shipped with one magazine until after i ordered it and placed an order for a couple 20rd magazines through cdnn. originally i thought it was only going to have one and was asking myself the same thing you are. this is the first pistol i have that i will probably never carry. with all the others i only use one of the factory magazines anyway while carrying and the others i carry are larger capacity. it just sucks because i was feeling like i was getting shorted.
i probably would have waited except that it wasn't too often that i could find a x5 tactical with the threaded barrel (at a decent price) |

I recently bought a new Sig P220 which came from the factory with only one 8 rd mag. I let the salesman at the gunshop know that Sig is now shipping with two mags and he threw a 2nd mag into the deal. And btw, this shop sells Sig P220 mags for $59.00. ![]() i wish i could say that i thought any of the shops around here would the same. |
