I'm thinking about purchasing a P220 and was wondering what people thought of the SRT setup on the Elite line. It looks like an interesting idea, but nobody around me has one in stock for me to check out in person.

Even if you do find one to look at in a shop it wont help your decision much. You really need to shoot one to feel the difference. If you take the slide off of one of your sigs and dry fire it and keep the trigger pulled while you manually cock the hammer(you will have to push down the hammer reset on the right side of the gun just above the grip panel).Now with the hammer cocked back let up on the trigger slowly and it will reset just about like the srt. When you put the slide back on it will be normal. There is a way to keep the short reset with the stock trigger,but it involves making the gun not quite as safe.
