What would this be gun be worth?
its a '97 P228, no pics, but he said its in 99% condition, he said he takes care of them (he is local so I can check before I buy it) he has about 400 rounds through it he said, and the 1st owner. he said he has about 4-6 mags which some are high cap 20 mags and no case. I might trade my '06 USP 45 with it which has truglos on it, mine is about 700 bux.... is this a fair trade? my USP is worth about 700 bux... |

I bought a new 228 in 99 for $650 or so with one 10rd mag. Throw in a few hi cap mags and it wouldv'e been worth $750 or so.
So, $700 sounds a little high IMO for a 12yr old gun, unless they've increased in value. I don't know about that. They do hold their value pretty well though. Hell, you may be close to breaking even. Either way, you got a good pistol. I don't think you will be dissapointed with it. Someone else may be able to give you a more accurate $ figure. |
