| Are the night sites on the P226 9mm high enought to be used with a AAC evolution suppressor or do I need to buy the taller sites? |
|
They do not clear the can, but they sit right on top of the end of the can. Basically the top of the front sight is almost perfectly even with the top of the front end of the can. It's almost like the silencer isn't even there. I like my sights to clear the can, however the P226/Evo combo works well for me.
ETA: I'm using the P226 tactical with factory threaded barrel. |

I agree with the above. I have the factory Sig Lites with a factory threaded barrel and a Trident 9. The sights don't clear, but you learn to "look through the can" although I'm not that good at it. I added some lasergrips, and they clear the can and are a lot of fun. |
