Does anyone have an opinion about the SCT magazines with a SIG P229? They look like a good idea. They do not seem much larger than the standard magazines but have a +2 capacity. I have been thinking about getting a couple to try out, but I do not see them around often. MAX |

just got my SCT Sig, they work fine but I think they are $50 each, I had 4 come with the gun. They stick out a bit more than the regular mags, not much maybe 1/2" to 3/4". I bought a regular 229 .40 mag to carry in the gun w/ a SCT spare mag.
I had been carrying a 1911 with 9 rnds in and 8 for spare so for me to have 13 in and 14 in the spare is a big jump in # of rnds.
