...a 229 and 220 with a rail. The 229 will have or be sent away for a SRT and night sights (Carry Gun). The 220 will be something to shoot at the range, in a strategic place for HD and maybe carried every once and a while.
What is the best way to go about acquiring the two? I have a G17, a P239 in 9mm, P228, SW 689 in .357 mag, and HK USP ST in 9mm to trade. I'm also military so I can use the rebate to get a new gun from an authorized Sig dealer. The 228, G17, or 239 will not be sold until I get a 229 with a holster so that I have something to carry with a holster. What's the best strategy? Just bite the bullet and buy a new 229 with the mil rebate and send it in for the upgrades? Buy an Elite in the store? Thoughts? |
