Excellent HG, in most cases it will feel HP, but if not you can have the feed ramp slightly modified.

I just got one and I love it.

A sig for $300 OTD it's a no brainer!

The answer depends. P6s having the barrel with the updated feed ramp profile are reputed to work flawlessly with all sorts of 9mm Luger loads. Those with the older profile are reputed to be picky about certain JHP ammunition. My P6 (1/82) works just fine with everything I have sampled. Brother's 5/80 does as well.

YMMV.

Are there any photographs identifying the differences between the ramps?

Yes, and they have been posted a number of times here before but I don't happen to have them and can't recall what thread I last saw them in.

I went driving around today and found a large overpriced shop in Orlando that had five of them marked for $450, all of them 80 or 81 date code, old barrel style.  I himm-hawed around and got them to come down to $370, but I still think that's too much.  There's a funshow next weekend, what do these seem to be priced at gunshows?

Here in St. Louis at a gun show I saw 1 for $350.00 and another for $390.00 the cheapest I've seen. A local gun shop a month ago when these first started showing up had 2. 1 marked $575.00 and another $485.00. I passed on all of them and ordered 1 from Aim should come in sometime in early June I guess it is now.
