What are your impressions of the 220 compact? do you like it?

What would you like to know specifically?
Do you want a comparison against another SIG? or another weapon?

I think they are good little guns, and for the application, they fit the bill. (small frame .45)

They are basically P245's with a beavertail.

Thanks for the reply...........basically I was interested in these as I might have found one at a decent price and wanted to know what owners thought of them. Is it a good gun for carry?

I've got a 245 that has been my favorite carry gun for the last 5 or 6 years. Never had a problem with it. Mag capacity is a little lacking; compared to some newer .45s.
I don't know if the 220 compact with it's beaver tail would make that big a differnece or not. I saw a video posted somewhere that showed the 2 being shot side by side and it seemed to help, but it was a promotional video, so, just like an informercial, they might have been playing it up a little bit. Either way, unless you've got another pistol you're looking into, the 220 compact would be a good choice. I'll be picking up a 220 full size one of these days...
