| whats up all, I'm new to the site and I just picked up my first Sig Sauer, a p-229 in .40cal last month. I love Sigs and have plans to buy more. |
Welcome aboard.![]() ![]() Sigs are fine guns, I have 2 myself, a 228 9mm and a 232 .380 This is a great site full of smart people who are more than happy to help you with anything. Keep a thick skin, there's a lot of poking at one another that goes on here but mostly in fun. Don't ask about illegal activities such as, how do I make my AR full auto. Illegal stuff will not fly here and is taken very seriously. Otherwise have fun and I hope you enjoy your new Sig and the site. Treeman |
| Congratulations on your new SIG. SIGs are seriously addictive, so you've just begun to spend. I bought my first SIG last March; I bought SIG number seven a couple of weeks ago. My kid's inheritance is going fast. But, hey, at least I'm buying heirloom quality stuff. |
No worries on any of that, I know the laws and it will soon be my job to enforce them I see your avatar is the IAFF logo, are you a firefigher? My dad retired last year from the Columbia, MO fire department with 21 years of service, so I have a special place for firefighers. |
Future LEO I assume, if so congrats on that as well. I've been a FF for 20yrs, the last 17.5 with Birmingham. It's a great job but I'm looking forward to getting my 20 in. I don't plan on retiring at 20 now, but you never know and it will feel good to have that option. I was assigned to the Airport FS in Feb, if I stay there they'll have to drag me away when I'm 70yrso. It's the best sta. I've ever worked. Treeman |
yep, congrats on an awesome career. 20 yrs is a long way off for me! |
