I was looking for refurb 228 and asked the Sig rep at a local shop sale. He stated that there is going to be big release of 228s in the near future. I was looking to purchase one and wanted to know if any of you knew a place where they sold them for a decent price. What are the going price right now? |

I purchased my P228 used. If I had the opportunity, I would have bought a CPO P228. I've seen them online from $495 to $550. Being that local shops in CA charge a little more, I would expect to pay around $600 (+ or - $25). I have purchased a few CPO SIGs online. After the DROS fee, Transfer dealer's fee, state tax and the time that I've spend waiting the deals that I've gotten don't really seem like very good deals. I don't know much about the current supply of CPO SIGs, but it does seem like there are less than there were this time last year. I would take a look at the Equipment Exchange. It seems that there have been some decent deals floating around there lately. Good luck with your search! |
