Does anyone own a Sig 239 in 9mm,what do you think of it .Etc thx |

I can't tell you about the 9 MM version, but I can tell you a whole lot about the .357 Sig version. I've been carrying one off-duty for a number of years now. It's the DA/SA version. It is very dependable, compact and I trust it with my life. It is my go to weapon in my home and when I'm out in public. I hope this helps. |
| I recently liberated one from a co worker that didnt want it anymore. It is now my HD and off duty weapon. I am very impressed with it. I want another one. I know of a few cops that would be well served with one as a primary duty weapon. Small hands and P226's dont work well together. |
Why the angry face? :) I own a P239 SAS w/ DAK in .40, only 9mm I own is the Baretta. I dry-fired it 50 or 100 times before I bought it to see if I could live with the DAK trigger. I have to admit, I made a mistake. I cannot get used to the pull to save my life, I even find the full DA pull on my P220 to be easier to manage than the DAK pull. I just can't deal with it. I'm torn between selling mine and perhaps converting it to DA/SA which isn't terribly difficult to do. I love the fit, finish, and feel of the P239 SAS... but that trigger kills me. My groups are horrific, and the couple of other people I've let fire it have said the same thing. |

I have a 239 in both 9mm and 40S&W. I carried the 40 as my backup/off-duty gun for years. I have 1,000's of rounds through both and never a hiccup through either. I received the 40 as a gift from my wife and loving it, bought the 9mm. I also had a 225 in 9mm but got rid of it after picking up the 239. Both are DA/SA and will be mine till the end of time. In all honesty the 40 can be a bugger to hide on hot days but I opt for a fanny pack carry and let it roll. Keep in mind that it is a solid gun and has some weight. There is my 2 cents for you. I hope it helps....be the judge for yourself and you won't be sorry. |
