Alright fellas...need some help

Do all sig's have date codes? I've read a little about date codes...but can't find one anywhere on my 226.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

Halfway down this thread.....I had this question last week.....

Sig Dates

I also called Sig customer service and they told me the month/year of production on mine.

Technically, those codes are the date it was proofed, not when it was made (though basically it’s the same).

Bottom line though, is that if it wasn’t assembled in Germany, it won’t be proofed - and thus won’t have the code.
