I am contemplating (seriously) the purchase of a P220 Match.  It seems identical to the standard P220 with the exception of having a 5 inch barrel.  Does anyone have any experience with one of these?  Am I missing any other details of this model as compared to the standard P220?

Only question I have is if IDPA has banned it from the production class yet???

Christ knows anything that will give a $3000 1911 a run for the money and cost under $1000 just has to banned sight unseen from the get go.
