I saw a SIG 229 used today for $550. It was a dual tone and looked in like new shape with minor marks on the barrel and one small spot that you could hardly see at the bottom of the front of the grip where the mag inserts. Does that sound like a good deal, Normal deal or a bad deal? I am thinking about putting it on layaway. Thanks for any info.

Can you try to bargain a little lower?

$550 sounds reasonable, but always try to be cheap if you can.

It has been there for probably 6mos or so. I think I may offer $500 and see what they do.

i got my 229 in damn good condition with 3 12rd mags and 2 10 rd mags. came with factory .40 barrel and a bar-sto .357 sig barrel. it was a FTF purchase, $500.

What do you yall think about a 229 2 tone 9mm with CT grip laser? I just picked one up and might be willing to trade it for a USPc 45.
