I'd check Armslist, and site sponsors. A while ago Aim had leo trade in mk25's (Black not tan) for under 600. I imagine others will have trade ins pop up as well.

For a new in box tan model I went with grab a gun at 1025 shipped. Haven't seen nib tans lower then 1k but there were some used in the EE down in Texas awhile back that were in the 900s
