Which is the newer version of the grip? The OD is the one I bought from midway it is the small compact. The black one is the original and a medium compact.

So the original grip was newer. Well looks like I'll be buying a black compact small. I didn't like OD anyways, you can see light through the polymer.

Your black frame is newest, however, doesn't mean that all black small compact frames will be new style.
