| Yesterday I was in an LGS, and saw a Sig (used) in the display case. I couldn't tell whether it was a 220 or 226, and it was pretty busy, so I wound up leaving. Curiosity got the better of me, so I called back up there today and asked about it. It's a West German 226 with a Stainless slide, and I think the controls also are stainless. I have a P6 with two mags, blue box, and has been duracoated. I think the price on the 226 is too good to pass up. Should I trade the P6 toward the 226, or pass? The P6 is my EDC, so the 226 would become my EDC. Thoughts??? Would like some quick answers if possible. Buying the 226 straight out is probably a no go at this point. |
| sell your gun privately assuming your state allows that, and then pay the difference out of pocket with the cash you make, You will make more off your p6 that way than if you did a trade in. They will probably only get up 3/4 of what you would get if you sold it but still sell the p226 at the same price. (3/4 was generous) |
