It's a P228. Came with two mags and a cheesy Uncle Mike's holster. $400.

A buddy said the KD code on the slide means it was made in '93. Going to the range tomorrow.

Good for you, a P228 is a good first pistol. Just be forewarned, Sigs are like potato chips, you can't have just one.

Congratulations! Pretty good deal and one great SIG! I think that I bought my first 228 back around that time, too bad I sold it and to this day still regret it.

That is a good deal on a 228. I'm still looking for one. I got a similar deal on a W. German 226 last year and I love it.

Nope, just the pistol, two mags and a cheesy holster. I've been checking prices today and you're right, it was a helluva deal.

Fantastic pistol with a great trigger if you ask me.

Very nice OP.

IMHO, the 2 handguns that are closest to perfection are the Glock 19 and the Sig 228. Enjoy it.
